The most famous places on Brač are Bol, Postira and Supetar. Yet these places are very different from each other. Each resort has its own charm and each is unique as a base for, for example, the crossing to Hvar or Split. The one is a bit quieter, the other busier and more touristy. BOL

Just a 30-minute drive from the airport is the most famous and tourist resort of the island called Bol. This is due to the beautiful Zlatni Rat beach. Because of the famous beach, you can also find more souvenir shops here. From the beach you walk on the boulevard through a forest to the port of Bol. You can eat very nicely here.
Bol is also highly recommended for sporty types! Due to the wind on the South coast there are many windsurfers. Do you prefer to stay dry? Then rent a mountain bike and explore the place by bike. Look for beautiful beaches in the area on the cycle routes.
From Bol you can take the boat to the island Hvar. Super fun for a day or an overnight stay. Yet it is a different kind of tourism than for example on the Spanish Costa’s. Very pleasant and not annoyingly busy.

POSTIRA

Looking for a quiet resort? Then Postira is the place for you. A small fishing village located in the north of the island. Postira has a number of small hotels, restaurants and a small cozy bay with pebbles. It is a good base to explore the mainland. For example, the beautiful bay of Lovrecin can be found nearby and the larger town of Supetar is 8 km away.

SUPETAR

A picturesque harbor town with beautiful narrow streets, restaurants on the boulevard, overlooking a few colored boats from the fishermen. Welcome to Supetar, the largest city on the island. Supetar is a mix of everything. Here you can shop the best and the prices are low. There are several beaches in Supetar. Pebble and sandy beaches.
From Supetar you can also take the ferry to the mainland. This boat goes several times a day and can also be taken by car. The ferry sails to the well-known large city of Split, which you’ll reach in less than an hour.

Can’t choose? Then combine a couple of nights in Bol with a couple of nights in Supetar. Are you adventurous and do you have the time? Then take also the boat to Hvar and Split. This all is easy to do. Rent a car by Sunny Cars and go. This way you have compiled a beautiful Croatia tour!
